A Bit About Me
I was born in Ukraine and moved to Austria at the age of 9. I grew up in-between worlds, languages and customs and was always fascinated by everything audiovisual. I got my first paid video-jobs because I had a good sense for rhythm and music and my first public attempts at music got attention because of my usage of visuals. I am not saying this just to sell anyone on anything. I just happen to love doing these things for real.
"Jack of all trades, master of none"?
I sometimes get confronted with this sentiment when trying to explain that I happen to do multiple things. I feel like me being curious, adaptable and being mostly self-taught has only brought me joy, adventures and a sense of inner calm. I always happen to be the go-to person, when people need outside of the box thinking and efficient problem solving. A good friend of mine once called me a "digital carpenter", and I really like that. I cannot wait to learn more, try new things and by the way - the complete saying goes like this: "Jack of all trades, master of none, though oftentimes better than master of one."
Work Experience
May 2018 - today
February 2017 - March 2018
August 2012 - August 2016
Freelance & self-employed creative. Focusing on audiovisual content, post production, development, conceptual & creative thinking. Often switching between being a one-woman-show and being part of a (post-)production team.
Creative producer at the in-house brand agency of the Austrian branch of the Germany-based ProSiebenSat.1 PULS4 Media Group, with a focus on post-production and (brand-) campaign support. I left to be able to pursue music and other creative side projects, but kept professional project-related contact.
Freelancing and working part-time at TV Salon am Naschmarkt in Vienna. I was involved in daily TV formats as well as medium- to feature-length formats. During this time period I earned a diploma in Digital Film and 3D Animation from SAE Institute in Vienna, which was back then payed for by my employer for by me working part-time.
Noteable fact: I received my diploma as the highest-ranking student in my graduating class.
